FinAPU receives ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management
Following a successful audit in December 2022, FinAPU GmbH recently obtained the Deutsches Institut for Normung Europäische Norm (DIN EN) ISO/IEC 27001:2017 certification.
DEKRA confirms in late June through the certification that FinAPU, a leading company in the field of risk management, has successfully established an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that meets all requirements of the globally recognized standard and promotes the establishment and maintenance of effective security controls and measures. FinAPU has demonstrated during the audit that it has implemented effective policies, procedures, and technologies for the identification, assessment, and management of information security risks.
The internationally recognized standard for information security holds significant importance for the successful domestic FinTech, with its SaaS risk management platform, and implements a holistic approach to information security in everyday business operations. "The successful ISO 27001 certification is another milestone in our corporate strategy and an expression of continuous improvement for our customers," says Karl Tasch, CEO of FinAPU. He adds, "We understand that our customers and partners rely on the protection of their sensitive data, and the certification reaffirms our commitment to safeguard their information from threats and provide them with a reliable risk management solution."
The ISO 27001 certification realizes a range of benefits:
- Increased credibility and trust among customers and partners
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to data protection and information security
- Strengthening the competitive advantage through the demonstration of high security standards
- Continuous improvement through regular reviews and audits
"FinAPU will continue to invest in the development and expansion of its information security management system to ensure the highest standards are maintained, allowing customers to focus on the essential tasks of identifying, assessing, and managing risks," summarizes Karl Tasch, the company's mission.
